cracklins

I would have resigned him anyways, but let's not also overlook the intangibles: great clubhouse guy, good role model for younger players, does work in the community, and very good friends with CC... if we have any chance for CC, it's b/c Cameron is with the team. With CC an official free agent now and Melvin's offer out there to him, I don't think it's coinicidence that Cameron is back with the team.

I wonder how much Hart is kicking himself for not talking a contract at the beginning of the year when the getting was good... and whether he's pressing too much recently as a result of that...

two words: premature e-bat-ulation

I'm looking to take the afternoon off on Wednesday and watch the game not by myself. Where are any of you in the Madison area getting together downtown or on the east side?

Random, but I just thought this one up. Feel free to use as your sig The 2007 Chicago Cubs: The worst team that money can buy.

Also, I think this team has more pride than some previous outfits. It was painful for us to watch the past five games, but imagine how much it stunk for the players and coaches. A little home-cooking is just what this team needs right now. Eveland is due for a breakout game tonight and the bats are poised to take out some frustration. C'mon Crew!

I bet it was attempt at nimble wordplay by either Daron or Bill.
