  1. I had a voucher for the 2008 dvd and it was gone when I went to "cash" it in. I don't live around Milwaukee so I had to wait past the deadline to get one. If someone is willing to burn me a copy of it I would be grateful and would pay a fee if needed. thanks http://www.ezboard.com/intl/aenglish/images/emoticons/smile.gif
  2. I was informed of Dish Network dropping FS on Saturday morning after I searched with my dad for awhile on Friday night looking for the Brewers games. I was upset when I found out they had been dropped. Needless to say Dish Network will be shut off on 10/12 and immediately after I shut it off Direct Tv should be hooked up. They have the MLB network and NBAtv is included as well! Not to mention I was paying $106 bucks for the top package, my locals and the superstations and with Direct Tv having basically the same channels but more sports and more movie channels I am getting it for $55 bucks the first year, 70 bucks the second year and the 3rd year it will be 94 bucks for life (which includes HD)! So no matter what I do I am saving money... hopefully the reception is good and it doesn't freeze.
  3. Tickets are sold out for the games in MN against the Twins in a couple weeks. Stub hub is outrageously priced! Are their people selling tickets outside the stadium (like they do at Miller Park)? I don't want to spend 100 bucks on a ticket that should cost 62 bucks. Any info would be great. Also, does anyone have suggestions for where we should stay while there for games? closest hotel to the ball park? Thanks!
  4. Right now weather.com has 64 degrees and partly cloudy with 10% chance of rain at 6 pm ET and then at 7 pm it goes to 30% chance of rain. I would think they could get the game in. Here's to hoping for a win and the middle of the order to come to life!
  5. You can go to Stubhub.com and buy tickets. You print them off and your all set. There are 416 tickets available as of 9:37 am today and they are all over the stadium.
  6. I thought he sounded like JP as well. It took me a bit to remember that it wasn't actually JP announcing. I think Cory will do well and he sounds ok to me. I know it's only spring training but I'm so excited for baseball to be back I enjoyed the excitement he conveyed.
  7. section 126, row twenty something I believe, seats 21-22 or something like that. My regular season tickets were in section 111 so this is a new spot for me
  8. why can't these guys score any dam runs!!! if I'm beyond frustrated they gotta be going insane!!!!
  9. I didn't notice too many 'rotten' Cubs fans. For the most part they were ok. On Friday night there we 2 Cub's fans sitting behind me and they were loud and obnoxious before the game started but were fairly decent during the game. Yesterday I expected alot of commotion from Cub's fans but didn't hear or see anything. I was so excited and full of emotion the Cub's fans didn't register on my radar from the 8th inning on though.
  10. I agree with fondybrewfan. I sure hope the game gets played tonight so there is no facing Harden. The Brewers are going to have a hard enough time beating the 3 pitchers they are facing already without having to face Harden. If the other games get rained out all we have to do is win and put the pressure on the Mets even more.
  11. wow, Cameron a leadoff man?? I wish Counsel wasn't in there. anything to get a win... I guess??
  12. *points up* Please win for everyone's sanity. The downward spiral has been heartbreaking and maddening at the same time. Please CC get a win tonight!
  13. Brewer game with flipping to the packer game during some commercials. Not a big football fan... just curious.
  14. Does anyone have a JJ Hardy Collectible Poster that was given away earlier in the year that you are willing to sell? I have looked in many places and can't find one to buy like I have found Brauns and Harts. email me at hkdakd@yahoo.com thanks!
  15. I personally like the guys showing emotion on the field. To me it shows that they truly care and want to win badly. I'm a woman so that's the girly side in me coming out. The situation with Vallanueva last night was in response to Pujols shouting at him after Carlos got the last hitter to pop out. How many other hitters in baseball showboat after a home run (M Rameriez, D Lee, Pujols)? Sure Braun and Hall shouldn't do it but if others do it why can't the Brewers either. It doesn't bother me one way or another when it comes to Braun or any other Brewer watching their home runs. I think I would watch it too if I could hit one. Look at how many pitchers show emotion on the mound too (Zambrano, Chamberlain). They get pumped too just like a hitter. I used to like the Cardinals, and cheered for them when they won the World Series a few years ago... they have turned into nothing but whiny babies now. I bet if they were in first place for the wild card they wouldn't have their undies in such a bunch right now.
