Everyone wearing their socks the same way is a lame high school/junior college tactic. I think it is uncomfortable to wear my socks high, because when you pull your pants up, the elastic strangles your calf/knee. Being forced to be uncomfortable every day doesn't seem like it would help anything.

His numbers this season are too good to be ignored. He has a ton of power, with above average speed, and a well above average throwing arm. It would be foolish for some team not to give him another shot, despite his lack of success in his other chances in the big leagues.

I agree with naivin. Its not just about getting to the playoffs. With Sabathia and Sheets, if the Brewers can get to the playoffs, they have a legitimate chance of winning the World Series. Thats what its really all about. That is 2 legitimate aces to go with a solid lineup that should continue to improve. Even if it costs Laporta or Gamel, this is a move that the Brewers have to make.

Ned shouldn't have let that call go so easily. That was a good spot to get thrown out, because the call was wrong. The third baseman wasn't even going into his glove with his bare hand, the slide jarred the ball loose.
