You just know that this is going to be one of those outings where JDLR goes 7 innings, allows only 2 runs and 2 walks while striking out 13.....

 

 

But hopefully we pound the snot out of him.

I'm Officially Worried about the Brew Crew facing JDLR today. Just a hunch.

 

Hopefully, though, he'll have trouble with his command and get shelled.

 

Here's also hoping that Soup stops doing his Designated Rotation Stooge impression.

I guess I just don't quite get why Counsell's hitting 2 when Weeks is hitting 8. I thought the idea was to get your better hitters more at bats, not fewer. Ah well, I guess it's not a big deal, just another little thing about Yost's lineups that eat at me.

Counsell gets on base and works the count very well. Against a guy with spotty control like de la Rosa, that's a great thing to have at the top of the order. That lineup makes sense, as far as Ned goes (I'd still rather see Weeks hit second, but whatever).

The point was to keep the pressure off Rickie. He's not going to bounce him up to 2 for a day just to drop him back off at 8.

Hardy's gotta be hurt. There's no other way Counsell gets the start over Hardy against a LHP. ...Right??

Ooof, that one is obviously all on Rickie.....it looked like the one against the Giants the other day was on Prince though...come on boys!
