Green Bay Softball

Hey, I moved up to Green Bay a couple of months ago, I started teaching in the school district here in January. I'm wondering if any bfnetters in Green Bay are looking or have room for another guy on a softball team. I don't know a ton of people up here and played in 3 Madison softball leagues and with a tournament team last year. I'm an ok player, can pitch slow-pitch, can play infield and a little outfield, not a fantastic player but decent, I'd also have a couple bats for the team to use. Give me a shout if anyone needs and extra. Thanks.

I'll check with the rest of the team (I'm an add on myself). It's a modified semi-competitive league.

modified is much more fun to play than regular softball IMO. Its more fast paced and closer to actual baseball.

I don't doubt it...though I quit playing serious baseball when I had my knee put back together the 2nd time and I haven't tried to hit one in a bunch of years. I'm sure a bit of time in the cage would bring some form of timing back. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif

Nothing from my team yet. They can be a sluggish bunch. I should have something for you tomorrow. FWIW I agree that modified is alot closer to baseball than either slow or fast pitch.
