It’s kind of a win / win really. You now have your guy that can just burn on the mound and get pounded and we swept the Cubs. That was annoying as hell but he won’t sniff the playoff roster so, whatever. -

I kind of eluded to it earlier in the thread. Take Counsell for instance. He’s weak. He’s always pacing, always stressing out, always looks absolutely miserable. That’s not a good leader. You wouldn’t want to go into battle with a guy like that. Murphy might not be the best baseball manager but he’s the best when it comes to leading his club.
