As much as i hate to see a class act like Mulder go down, this only helps the brewers.

I would agree. Tough career for this guy. He had great success early on, but has been plagued by injuries ever since. And yes, this does help the brewers, because instead of making a trade, the Cardinals said that "help would come from the DL". Well, it appears that Mulder might be going right back on it.

bad that the Marlins, Phillies, and Mets won - If Brewer fans think the wild card race is between only STL and Milwaukee, we're mistaken. two of the those three NL east teams are going to be factors.
