ESPN's latest power rankings

The Crew and their 8 game winning streak are only good for 6th in this weeks rankings. I would not have thought much of it, but the Mets are 5th and the Cubs are tied for 2nd. Are they all high?! I would even be fine with the Cubs' ranking as they are one game better, but the Mets are starting to win a few more than they lose for a week, and suddenly they are the 2nd best team in the NL? The Mets would be the 4th best team in the NL Central and ESPN ranks them #2 in the NL. I spit on their floor!

For what it's worth, here's who BP projects as having the most talent going forward:

Red Sox (.623)

Rays(.597)

Yankees (.572)

Cubs (.567)

Mets (.558)

White Sox (.552)

Brewers (.545)

Part of that is based on preseason projections, though, and they don't update that for personnel changes (in other words, part of that projection assumes Yo is still on the team and CC isn't).

Really, I have no problem with the Mets being a little higher than the Brewers.

Is there a pitcher that is more unlucky right now than Johan Santana? Based on that turning around and many other things, the Mets are going to be in the race until the end. Carlos Delgado is on fire as well.
