Coop predicts sweep?

Cecil Cooper predicted this weekend that the Astros would sweep the Brewers in this series. Going against CC, Sheets, and Parra and he expected to sweep the Crew. It was great seeing his face with every run the Crew put up last night. The Astros had been an overachieveing team lately and Coop is dreaming if he thought they could sweep the Brewers and still win 90 games this year!

Sounds like he said they needed to sweep, and then kind of said he thought they would.

 

As goofy as that front office is, Cecil might well be fighting for his job. They fired Garner right after going to the Series, right?

I actually believe it was halfway or so into last season (or was it the season before?). I'm fairly certain it was a midseason type firing though.
