Well, I went to the doctor today and -both- heels are in trouble. I have tears in both Achilles tendons. I was given a prescription to hopefully take down some of the inflammation and make walking a bit easier. I go to a specialist on Tuesday and will most likely start injections and physical therapy at that time. Unfortunately, I'm going to be quite limited as far as activity goes. I can't go back to the YMCA for leg workouts for a while, no basketball, no winter racquetball league, and will most likely be out of softball for the season.

I am going to be limited at work for a bit as well. I can't even carry Rachel around like I'd normally do. One good thing this gets me is no lengthy shopping trips with the wife.

I'll find out next week if there's any way I can play ball, but it is not looking good right now. While I'm writing this, my heels are both hot to the touch from inflammation and I have to keep them on ice.

This is no fun at all.

Is there anyone who can replace me on the roster?

i got ticks for section 200 something behind the dish so i didnt say i was gonna go but now that the weather is looking like hurricane katrina (Milwaukee) style i think i'll be going to the game... (too soon for Katrina jokes?) hah how about Alexander jokes?
