    For locals living in MIL with a better finger on the pulse, specifically for game 1, Friday night, are there any watch parties I should be aware of? I'm coming into town from TN, attending game 2, looking for a watch party for game 1. The weather looks good, so outdoor hopefully. I thought maybe one of the country park beer gardens?? Deer District seems obvious, but maybe Bucks home opener makes it too crazy. Bluemound bars don't have outdoor space? State street in Tosa (Hart's/Leff's) would be old stomping grounds, but not sure about outdoor space. Kegel's on National is a favorite, and it's near the stadium which would be cool, and I'm assuming they still have the whole side street blocked off for their beer garden? I'll be staying on the south side, like Franklin area.

    I was thinking about you two weeks ago when my wife & I were traveling in Italy, wondering what part of the country you were in. We were in Rome, then in the Le Marche region, then back near Rome in & around Frascati. Go Brewers!

    Incredible game, wow. Lifelong Brewers fan since I was a little tike in the kids' Pepsi Fan Club ~40 years ago. Growing up attending games, watching games, listening to games, checking BF.net everyday. So many seasons, the highs, the lows, the lower lows. Sharing with friends, family, strangers along the way. What a journey. A league pennant. Finally. Yes!!

    Back-to-back 3 & outs on offense, with that final play being a quick hitch pass that had no chance of being a first down even if it wasn't dropped. Back to being the MLF Packers we've come to know.

    I'm at the tail end of a trip abroad to Italy so missed game 1, but enjoyed catching up on the ~50 page thread. I think I'll still be in the air on our return flight to U.S. today during game 2, but hoping to catch very end in ATL airport for my connection. ... Either way, hopefully I'll have another fun Game Thread read for that parts I miss. Go Brewers!

    I guess I thought this was already the case. The Brewers broadcasters have been calling Yelich the captain for much of this year (which was new, I believe). "The captain comes through with the go-ahead knock." Heard references like that multiple times this season. Why were they saying that if he wasn't, in fact, the captain?
