Scenarios over the last dozen games

Resisting the temptation to simply say, "Stick a fork in this team," I'm wondering if we might look at the possible outcomes over the next 12 games. Which team has the advantage over the final 4 series of the season?

I guess it has to be the Phillies. They have 9 games against the Braves (who they have beaten like a drum all year) and the Nats, and 3 against the Fish. I can easily see them going maybe 8-4, or at least 7-5.

The Brewers have 6 with the Cubs, and 3 each with the Reds and Pirates. I can't imagine 8-4, but 7-5 seems within the realm of possibility (provided that they actually start to, you know, play baseball). That could work out this way:

2-4 against the Cubs

2-1 against the Reds

3-0 Pirates

I am in no way, shape, or form predicting or expecting any of these outcomes. But does anyone else want to predict how it will shake out?

At this point there's probably too much psychological damage to pull things together. On the bright side Yost should be shown the door, maybe even Melvin. If true, hopefully Jack Z. gets a shot.
