Miller Park WiFi

Just a quick question before I make my trek down to the game tonight. I recently got a iPod Touch and was wondering if there is free WiFi in the Park. I saw an article on-line saying that there is WiFi in the parking lots also. Can anyone confirm this?

If you are a Road Runner customer, there is free WiFi in the parking lots and right field area. If you're not a customer, I'm not sure.

my iphone picks up free wifi in the park (425 sec approx), but it just stalls and never works, so I don't use it

I've picked up free Wifi along the first baseline before on my iPhone but like stoops have not had good luck in getting it to work.

I believe non-Road Runner customers can tap into the service for a nominal fee. I'm not sure of the logistics involved.

It is indeed only for roadrunner customers. It is 3.95 per hour if you are not. Since I only wanted to check the score of the Mets-Cubs game I decided against the 4 dollars an hour.

How do they determine whether or not you're a RoadRunner customer? I don't have anything on my computer justifying my RoadRunner service.. do you have to know your account number to get the free access?

Just curious.

I think was your account number but I can't remember exactly. When you try to open your browser a screen pops up to enter your account number or buy time.

I've actually picked up two different networks in the park - one being the RoadRunner network (requiring login or payment) and one titled something like "Free WiFi Access" or something like that. I believe the latter is only available in certain sections of the concourse.

There's a linksys as well, but it doesn't assign addresses.
