I'm really looking forward to watching Wolf work, too. He seemed to be pretty effective last year with the Dodgers.

I'm nervous for Gomez, he's gonna have to have a huge game to live up these expectations after day one http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif I predict he will do well with hard throwers and struggle with slower guys. We'll see what happens.

Is this one of those scenarios where it is literally impossible to watch in the entire state except for milwaukee because the mlb extra innings is always blacked out in the entire state even though wmlw is only in Milwaukee? So no possible cable provider/bar could show this game on TV anywhere in the state except milwaukee? It just pissess me off so much that they black out the extra innings package to areas where there is no alternate way to watch the game.

Sounds like that's the case. I live in the Cedar Rapids area, and the Royals, Cardinals, Brewers, White Sox, Cubs and Twins are all blacked out. CSN is available here, so I understand blacking out the Sox and the Scrubs, but none of FSMinnesota, FSWisconsin, FSMissouri, or FSKansas are available on any cable package I've seen in this area.

MLB Extra Innings only showing Rockies broadcast on DirecTV in LA. On channel 732, or 732-1 in HD. For those in Iowa, you may want to look into satellite. Maybe the blackouts aren't as bad.

Not sure about the legality of this, but it looks like you might be able to stream it at this website. Channelsurfing.net had mlb games on it yesterday, but I don't see any games on there today. I don't understand why you can be black out of watching your hometown team.

I dont get it either, I was actually about to purchase mlb.tv since I don't want to go another summer with just the radio but it appears that living in Winona the mlb.tv package will blackout both the twins and the brewers, so I'm stuck with watching the Twins on FSN here for now or else whatever streams I can find.

as for Directv for those outside the blackout area, they usually put the WMLW games on one of their alternate sports pack channels but they don't list it in the guide, so you pretty much have to hunt for it once game time arrives. If I find it, I'll post the channel (or somebody else can do this if they beat me to it.)
