I despise you, Ken Macha.

Well Edmonds is 3/5 with 3 BBs vs. Karstens and Cain is probably hitless in his career vs. Karstens.
True, but Cain is a career .667 hitter. That beats Edmonds .600 average vs. Karstens.

Where's Carlos Corporan when you need him?

If anything, Macha seems to prefer younger players. When i hear all the emotional distress over "fire" or similar I think that people want less of players like Cain.

About the only thing worse for the Brewers' pitching staff than Capuano only being able to go 3 or 4 innings tonight would've been a prolonged rain delay that cuts his outing short after one inning. With how hard it's raining, I'm kind of hoping it never quits and they just postpone it.

The 40 Years/40 Moments segement about that 1992 team's shellacking of Toronto took me back to some good memories. I still think that team was a good bit better than the one that made the playoffs a couple of years ago.

the 1992 team was (IMO) the best team the 'Crew has had since 1982 and has to rank up there with the 81, 78 and 08 teams. That was a fun year.

Agreed, too bad there was no wild card that year. That team could have made some noise in the playoffs. Very solid.

What's Cappy's PC limit?
60-65. They'll probably try to squeeze the rest of this inning out of him and get Villanueva in.
