It's the Pirates, but his pitching performance today was assuredly better than what we saw yesterday. I'm glad we were able to get Cappy a win, and I'm glad to see the Pirates again!

I understand it is the Pirates and you can't put too much into one game but I really think Cappy needs to be given some more starts to see if he is back to his past form. He looked good tonight.

The last part I wouldn't have I thought Axford and Braddock should have been in the bullpen at the beginning of the year.

Cappy deserves at least another start in place of Parra

Why does it have to be "in place of Parra?" Davis is still on the DL for a bit. With Gallardo just coming back from the DL, I don't think going with a six man rotation would be so bad at this point. I guess you risk throwing off the starting pitchers with that, though.

 

My guess is one of Narveson, Bush, or Parra gets traded before July 31st. Has to be someone who can use a decent SP.
