New Northwoods Baseball Team in Mequon, WI

I'm not sure if this has been talked about, but those of you in the Milwaukee area can have access to some exciting college baseball prospects beginning next summer. Concordia University has received approval to expand their baseball facilities and add lights. A new team from the Northwoods Baseball League will be situated in Mequon, WI during the summer. They play something like 75 games, almost every summer evening (home or away). This is a wood-bat league and has produced many major leaguer's.

 

Looks like they will begin play next summer. I'm sure you'll hear more details. Tickets are something like 5 bucks and the games begin at 6 PM or something like that from what I've heard. It's an interesting chance for Milwaukee locals to get an eye on some top college players.

From what I hear the NWL will contract Battle Creek and this team will replace it. Thus ending the "Michigan Experience."
