In 2010, Corey Hart had 7 stolen bases and was caught 6 times. So 50% isn't that unreasonable, although if you consider the game situation maybe he had a 2/3 chance of stealing the base.

 

But my point is that the Brewers shouldn't be stealing with Braun at the plate. That's a valid criticism.

Hart is 67% for his career. Also the Padres have thrown out 26% of runners this season which is 10th in the NL.

I'd rather they pitch to Yuni. He's almost a lock to fly out to center, then we hope McGehee can somehow tag up. I like those odds better than Lucroy..

Ok you guys win, it was acceptable for Hart to run there. But it gives me much pain to see him get caught with Braun at the plate.
