Game 1 - First Pitch - Beast mode

WSSP was saying they want everyone to do beast mode before Yo's first pitch. Someone even made shirts that say "we don't wave, we beast mode" and they are selling them at steny's in walkers point... I will be at Miller Park tomorrow and the fans should join in with the players and go beast mode.

First thought I had was that is kinda dumb. Then I thought about everyone in the stands doing it at once. Now I wish that it would be a tradition that starts for every home game. I will be doing it in front of my TV tomorrow and at the game on Sunday.

I wish this were true. I fully expect some section to try to start the wave in a one-run game in around the seventh inning.

I have vivid memories of shutting down some early 20's girl's attempt at doing the wave in game 4 of the '08 NLDS after Suppan had given up his 3rd jack. unbelievable. The wave is the bane of my baseball existence.

I think it's OK, or at least unstoppable anymore, at Camp Randall. Those fans have it down to nearly a science, and don't they do it relatively early on, and maybe not right at a critical game moment?

The beast mode thing is stupid too, but the players seem to enjoy it, so that's the main thing.
