I stated my opinion that I don't feel sorry for the person awating a lung transplant if they purposely ruined their own lungs, I did not mean for this to me a pro smoking vs. anti smoking debate.

According to NTSB they said they reported pitch and trim control problems and fell off of radar, so it sounds like it's a systems failure of some sort.

Looks like the guy who needed the transplant found another donor and is going to survive.
