Nothing huge here, but he was a guy some people thought could help out as a super sub or splitting time at SS.

 

It also helps set the marketing for JHJ. I'm thinking 2 years / $4.5-5 million for Hairston will be what it takes.

For a half-second I was thinking Benito Santiago...please drive through. A league average bat that can play 4,5, and 6. Can't have enough of those guys.

I would be thrilled if the Brewers brought back Hairston with that deal, or a little bit more.

Agreed...but there's competition for his services and the contracts already doled out are for bigger dollars than that. I don't see it happening, but I hope so too.
