getting wax out of carpet

Anyone got any tips? I was cleaning my house and there's an area on pretty new carpet with wax on it. I need to get it out before I put it up on the market.

 

Any suggestions would help a lot! Thanks!

I've always heard that you should just melt it with a hair dryer and soak it up with a paper towel. Dunno how well it works though.

Lay some paper towel over the wax. Take an iron and iron the paper towel. The iron will melt the wax and the paper towel will soak it up.

thanks guys! that worked out really well and only took a few seconds to get the wax hot enough to come out...there was a descent amount so i was pretty worried
