And Gonzo gets nothing from that. Bat flying at him, he still should have gotten something methinks.

middle 8 in Houston.
"Two three the count with nobody on, he hit a high fly into the stands. Rounding third he was heading for home, it was a brown eyed handsome man. That won the game, he was a brown eyed handsome man."

The bunt rolls to the best possible spot. Shattered bat that wasn't that close to Gonzalez but he freaks out and now they have them loaded with no outs for Tulo. Ball hasn't gone past first base. Awesome. Be lucky to get out of this inning only down a run or two.

Good form, Roenicke, for having Badenhop hot & ready should this inning reach Tulowitzki... as it has.

I was worried Mike Gonzalez was the new 7th Inning Guy™.

A broken bat assist.... I think that's the first time I've seen that happen.

I don't see them, 6 to 4 to 3. I get a blue screen between innings, so I can't comment.

Come on Burke.

Whoa that was right down the middle. I think I just lost a year of my life on that pitch.

I found it funny yesterday when Brian and Bill gave a bit of a "wink-wink, nudge-nudge" when mentioning that the dude that pitched to one guy in the 7th for the Rockies and didn't come out for the 8th might be the "7th inning guy."

Every time I see Burke Badenhop's name, I read it as "Bad Hop," which is not a good name for a pitcher. Not as bad as "Walker," though.

While were on the subject, is anyone else annoyed by the Fox Sports Wisconsin girls?

Yes.

Also, I wonder what Telly Hughes is up to this season. Sophia Minnaert took 'is jerrrrrrb!

We should be looking for a bullpen guy named Thomas Whiffer.

Or Grant Balfour

Thought he had him struck out twice there, just missed that second foul tip. And now we're losing. Just really unlucky this inning. Keep it at one I hope...

I also laugh when I see Homer Bailey on the mound.

Or the pure and utter ridiculousness of the inning can continue with a swinging bunt to score a run. That's 3 infield singles in the inning. And a blooper to CF off the end of the bat. This inning really has been a joke. Thats about a weeks worth of luck in the last 5-6 hitters.
