Well, I guess the jinx worked. That sucks though. I love seeing perfect games.

 

I was hoping he'd get it. I just know whenever I turn on a game, and something great is happening, I screw it up somehow.

I'm not a fan at all of Luc in the 5 hole. Also not a fan of that base running at all. We're down 4 runs in the 8th inning, you can't get double off on a play like that.

Brewer baserunning has been terrible in the first two games. That was almost as bad as Rickie Weeks trying for two yesterday.

What's the point of an instructional in the first place? Now their instructional to start the year is basically how to play catch. Can't wait for Davey to explain that one, I'm sure it will take an hour.

He may have made it back on time, but his weird slide didn't help. It almost looked like his front leg practically missed the base. Regardless, it shouldn't have been that close and agreed, pretty horrible base running the first two days.

 

You could see he read it wrong off the bat, but you have to understand the situation. We're down 4 in the 8th inning, you scoring helps, but it's not THAT important. Worst case is it falls for a hit and we have guys at the corners - nobody would be yelling we played it safe on a ball that close.

Down 4 this late in the game, outs are your enemy. You don't make a mad dash for third on a ball that's driven to right. You just don't.
