It sure would be nice to take 2/3 from the Cubs with our #3 -#5 starters, and begin the West Coast trip with Lohse and Gallardo on the mound.

Per Adam McCalvy: #Brewers stick with the same lineup as they look to continue a four-game winning streak.

Álex González 3B

Carlos Gómez CF

Yuniesky Betancourt 1B

Marco Estrada P

Cubs lineup:

David DeJesus CF

Starlin Castro SS

Anthony Rizzo 1B

Alfonso Soriano LF

Nate Schierholtz RF

Welington Castillo C

Luis Valbuena 3B

Darwin Barney 2B

Jeff Samardzija P

I get sticking with the line up, but keeping Weeks at clean up makes no sense. As long as they win I guess I don't care, but it shows how stubborn RRR can be. This is reminding me of the Gomez in the 2 hole saga from a couple years ago.

I'm not sure who else should go in the 4 spot other than Weeks. Braun's not moving from the 3 hole and Aoki is the obvious lead-off hitter. He's really the only option.

Lucroy could go there. Not ideal power for that spot but at least he's hitting the ball...weeks is supplying virtually nothing as far as power or hits go so losing power with lucroy is really no big deal.

Weeks has sucked there and stated he doesn't like it, yet we keep putting him there and watching him fail day after day.

Lucroy is a far better fit at clean-up than Weeks. Heck, I'd stick Gomez in there, but I think he would freak out and pop a hammy on one of his famous corkscrew swings...

I'd even consider Yuni at clean-up over Weeks. There is no way he can do any worse, NO WAY.

Sticking with Weeks in the 4 hole is detrimental to this team, yet it continues to go on day after day. Stubbornness in making out the daily line-ups is infuriating.

Every time Braun makes more than one out in a game, let's all wonder if it's because of his neck/PED scandal worries/herpes.

Impressive inning! Kind of wish we would've found a way to get that runner in from 3rd with nobody out for the 5th run, though. I hope that doesn't come back to bite us.

From time to time I have watched a game on mute and listened to Uecker. Never before today have I watched it on mute while listening to a police scanner.

Glad im not the only one!

Yes, it is.
There are three things America will be known for 2000 years from now when they study this civilization: the Constitution, jazz music and baseball. They're the three most beautifully designed things this culture has ever produced. Gerald Early
