I'll say Dexter Fowler's 8 Home Runs in the first month is the strangest April stat.

That Matt Harvey was allowed to throw 120 pitches in only 5 1/3rd innings last night seems like a pretty strange and stupid April stat.

Fowler has hit his off of a bunch of pitchers who are struggling in April so his just seems flukey. Buck is for real but obviously is just a hot streak.

 

For me it is probably Justin Upton with 12 HR already and 11 of them being solo shots somehow!

Now that the month is over, results are in. Caros Gomez is 4th in the NL in OPS. Carlos Gomez. 4th. Yet that is still a tie with anything Yuni has done, including being tied for club lead in RBI.
