Tonight is a great example of why managers need to be more flexible to the specific circumstances of the game. Sometimes you should squeeze, sometimes you shouldnt. RRR just squeezes all the time. Sometimes you should be aggressive on the bases, and sometimes everyone in the game has a HR and you better be dang sure of any SB attempt. RRR is just aggressive at all times.

 

Good point. Plus he may have noticed Pirates' Catcher is throwing darts right on the base all night....

Agreed. Once is a mistake. Twice is just flat out dumb. Thats' the last pitch he should be throwing there. And now here we go at 2-0. This feels like it's going to end very very horribly.
