2014 Bat Testing

Houle asked about bat testing, figured it could use its own thread...

 

The rec department's official "Bat Testing Calendar" shows the following:

 

May 15th

6:00p-9:00p Sijan #2 MS-385

 

May 22nd

6:00-9:00 Pumping St. CS-460 Sijan Field

 

So, it sounds like they'll be at our field our first two Thursdays, although the second one is a little unclear.

 

The rec department occasionally has other bat testing dates (they just had open dates yesterday and today -- oops) but I don't know of any upcoming. If someone really wanted to get a bat tested earlier than the 15th, we could probably contact the rec department to see about a special appointment?

The reason I asked is because I just got a new bat and wanted to get it tested before I used it. I have two games and probably a couple days of bp before our league even starts.

 

I found a schedule online and it looks like I can go down to 300 W. Lincoln tomorrow and get it tested tomorrow. I'm assuming that is open to anyone and not just teams playing at those fields? I don't know if it's worth the drive all the way down there anyways.
