Tough game to be in attendance for. It was pretty frustrating to see Garza go out like that. Also, some lady in our section would yell "Sexy Jesus" every time Werth came up. Ugh.

I guess we can chalk that game up to it being one of those days where they couldn't do anything wrong and got a lot of breaks. I hope we can come back and take this series.

Braun's home run was a bomb to left field. I think it was higher than it was far, only about 390 feet or so, but he definitely got all of it. It was really nice to see him hit a homer to left, as it means he was able to pull the ball with power. If he is able to continue doing that, that's going to be a huge boost for the Brewers.

 

Braun's top 10 in the NL in SLG, OPS and RBI now. .298/12/54. .348/.523/.871. WHen you consider that Braun has missed 23 of the 98 games the Brewers have played, that's impressive.
