Went out for a run. I came back and see that RRR burned 3 relievers in one inning. After our starter went 4 innings tonight and less than that last night. For all of the talk Dusty Baker got about burning out starters...

 

Garza was on a pitch count.

 

I've got no problems with RR bp managment tonight.

 

Aside from letting a gassed Jeffress pitch to 3 lefties he's actually managing like it's a must win instead of just throwing out pitchers because of their roles.

What else are you supposed to do with the bases loaded?

My wife gave even odds once we had bases-loaded and nobody out that we would not score this inning. Unfortunately she's probably right
