Seriously, Adams is a career .196/.223/.332 hitter against lefties and we have three good ones in the bullpen.

But he is our 8th inning guy - BLUE! Screw RRR

How on earth does RRR make decisions? Some nights he makes match-up pitching changes at the drop of the hat, even when not completely necessary. Then, on a night like this, when the game is one the line, I'd expect him to put in a lefty, he does nothing, just sits on his damn thumbs and watches Broxton scuffle through the inning, and walks in the tying run.

I just don't get the man, I just don't..

Fire the players. They suck. Melvin needs to re think this crap.
"This is a very simple game. You throw the ball, you catch the ball, you hit the ball. Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose, sometimes it rains." Think about that for a while.

How would it be tied?

Carpenter kept running and scored

But he was called out. Why would he throw home?

Exactly!? If the rule is really the way Schroeder and BA are describing it then that's stupid. The fielder shouldn't have to assume that the call might be wrong.

So tired of Rock saying "cant make mistakes against great teams like the Cardinals" - this patronizing of St. Louis is sickening

We're stuck with the Cardinal announcers. :tongue Rock is right, tho. We can't make these kind of boneheaded mistakes like that and expect to win.

I'd be ticked if I were a Pirates fan. They're playing for something meaningful, division title, and we're screwing it up for them.
