I don't think he lost anything in his thighs/legs. That would likely be detrimental to his power as that is where he generates it. Seeing he is on pace for well over 30homers that seems unlikely.

 

My guess..seriously. When he got married his wife said no more tight pants. So baggy pants equals smaller legs.
