Della Reese performed in pregame festivities prior to Oakland A's vs. White Sox game at,County Stadium in 1968. Her rendition of "On a Clear Day" under cloudless skies seemed so perfect at a time when we were all so hopeful that baseball would be back. Been a fan ever since. RIP Ms. Reese!
