2018-09-05: Cubs (Quintana) at Brewers (Chacín) 7:10 PM CDT [Brewers lose, 6-4]

[superfly]

Schoop is 11 for his last 33 with 3 HR and 10 RBI in that span. He got off to a slow start here for sure and the criticism was warranted then but it sure is getting over the top now.

It's the approach that is driving me crazy, I don't know about anyone else. It reminds me of old Brewers swing swing take a seat, at bat after at bat.

[Ron Robinsons Beard]

So in the 9th, if the Cubs go with Schoop...I assume we would definitely see Thames/Shaw/Yelich in some order right?

Good call.

Strop squeeeeezed badly on pitch 3

[liveforoctober]

That's a good start.

[Ron Robinsons Beard]

Well, here's Yelich ...

Gotta love the playoff atmosphere!

Maybe he wouldn't be if he turned his sideburns the right way.

[Bulldogboy]

Man is the bench good tonight.

[young guns]

I hope they're all telling him to give up a homer.

40-man roster depth is a beautiful thing in September.

[trwi7]

Contreras just told Strop a fart joke in Spanish.

[MrTPlush]

Okay....this is nice.

[TURBO]

Who will be the first poster to complain about Strop's hat?

Me, Me, ME! I'll do it!

Looks punkish...

[young guns]

I hope they're all telling him to give up a homer.

To thames.

[liveforoctober]

Come on Eric. Let's be magical on this night.

[trwi7]

Okay....this is nice.

Cubs runs plus the inning we're in?

[stoutdude04]

Tough AB on Thames. 3 good pitches.

[Bigblast]

Terrible at bat thames.

[Ron Robinsons Beard]

No patience from Thames there. OK top of the order, get it done!

[dlk9s]

I seem to remember someone here saying a couple weeks ago that the Brewers were just coasting or something.

No, they were done. He was thankful that the Packers and Badgers were starting.

[SomewhereInTime]

Nice of all the Cubs fans to start a "Let's Go Brewers" chant

[Ron Robinsons Beard]

What a spot for Grandy.

[dlk9s]

[sarcasm]Bryant should've gone home with that.[/sarcasm]

[young guns]

[sarcasm]Bryant should have gone home instead of trying for the dp.[/sarcasm]

[stoutdude04]

Too bad Cain couldn't hold up on that inside fastball. Bummer.
