I like Braun a lot better at #5 than #3. For whatever reason he's been so much more productive down in the lineup. The numbers don't lie, .652 OPS batting 3rd versus .847 batting 5th.

First half Braunie isn’t second half Braunie.

"This is a very simple game. You throw the ball, you catch the ball, you hit the ball. Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose, sometimes it rains." Think about that for a while.

Could Yelich get any hotter right now? If Baez wins, it's a travesty.

I know what you are saying. He is hot but I think the dude is just good. I said back at the break that I could see Yelich sitting at the all star game for the first time and thinking I'm one of the best. His confidence I think has led to this and will keep going for a while.

I would rather have Braun than Zeus at #3 tonight, especially considering his recent tear and the lefty starter. Maybe it doesn't work, but that's baseball.

Excellent, efficient inning from Burnes. How about a 5-spot, offense? About time Perez and Schoop delivered!

Has Yelich given the team life tonight? Guy is a total leader this year and down the stretch. I don’t think the leadership Yelich/Cain have brought should be under appreciated. I think it is the reason we have won way more games than our talent levels wings at.

No, that's true, but he was moved down for a reason and for the most part it was a successful move. Maybe it doesn't really make a difference and it's just statistical coincidence, I don't know. Just a theory.

I really think it is a total collection of guys. Yelich has been amazing but I don’t think that leadership is just about on the field stuff. Lots of guys filling a lot of roles on this team. It’s been amazing to see.

Aguilar just hasn't been much fun to watch in the second half. It's too bad Thames hasn't done anything to earn any playing time lately even against righties.

When the Brewers aren’t hitting I always remind myself how difficult this game is. Then Yelich bats making it looks so easy and I don’t know what to tell myself anymore.
Not just “at Night” anymore.

Or if Schoop was anything like the player they probably thought, Shaw could’ve slid over.

I know. For some reason I got piled on for suggesting he needs a few days off. He's just not the same Aguilar we saw in the first half. That's why I have no problem hitting Braun third tonight.

Alright guys they won’t be pitching to Yelich the rest of the weekend. Thenentire team needs to step it up soon.

The Tigers might, they are out of it and pitchers may try to challenge themselves against him. Once we get to the playoffs teams won't

Braun needs to become the Fielder. He’s done a good job as of late but he needs to protect Yelich like Fielder protected him.

Alright, lets tie this up at the very least guys!

I would love for Schoop to take a couple of pitches before taking his first hack.

Not just “at Night” anymore.
