Ryu was absolutely terrible in the first inning. All his pitches were missing and nothing was breaking. I want and expect more here.

 

It would be an absolute nightmare for the Dodgers to not only lose, but get rocked. Would allow us to avoid using Hader.

Whew. Got the pop up out.

 

Miley is definitely not sharp tonight. Can run with him a little bit if the lead can get extended to 6-1 or more. But whoever Counsell wants to be the middle innings pitcher probably ought to be alerted in the bullpen.

The offense can't go into hibernation not. Gotta keep stacking good at-bats. I don't feel comfortable with any lead against these guys.

 

I'd like to see them build a 6-7 run lead and be able to keep Hader in reserve for tomorrow.

Gritty inning by Miley. We’ll be lucky to get a couple more innings out of him, methinks. We need the Haderade

 

Obviously you can play this a little differently if we can extend the lead, but I wouldn't piss around with Miley a ton today if he doesn't get into a groove. Nothing else matters today except winning today.
