Box: DSL Brewers/Indians 9, DSL Dodgers "Shoemaker" 7

It was 5-5 before a wild 9th inning in this co-op road game.

The only Brewer pitcher was 6'3" rookie 17-year-old Venezuelan RHP Edwin Jimenez, woho outside of walk rate, has held his own over 11 appearances (eight starts).

19-year-old switch-hitting infielder Francisco Gonzalez's two hits were a homer (his 3rd) and a triple. Two of Gonzalez's home runs have come as a LH-hitter, but the sample size LH is only 30 AB's. Usually it's a 2nd full season in before too much can be made of L-R tendencies for the young switch-hitters.

Teams were supposed to play two, but the second game was rained out and won't be made up.

Bummer that the only game summary available is via the visitors for this Vibes' home game, but there you go.

The three Vibes pitchers, including starting RHP and reigning Pioneer League Pitcher of the Week Carlos Luna, did not walk a single batter.

Second baseman Nick Egnatuk was on base three times out of the leadoff spot as he tries to finish up a difficult season strong.
