Man I feel old.

Allen wasn't born when Dayne was toting the rock.

Allen is so young he can barely remember when GORDON toted the rock...

Wisconsin Badger fans are as spoiled with RB's as Packer fans are with QB's. Is Allen not even 18?!? Yikes. That is bonkers.

Aye. In 30 years UW has basically had 3 or 4 years without an All-American caliber RB. The PJ Hill years, '15 when Ogunbawale led the attack (and heck even he cashed a few years worth of NFL paychecks) and last year.

Moss-Fletcher-(McCullough)-Dayne-Bennett-Davis-Calhoun-(Hill)-Clay-Ball-White-Gordon-(OG)-Clement-Taylor-(Berger)-Allen.

There was some ESPN article I think in the preseason about which football programs owned particular position groups in the last 20 years. UW was #2 in both RBs and OL--2nd to Alabama in both cases. I think UW was top 10 in LBs as well.

Ogunbowale is still cashing NFL checks. He's on the Jaguars.
"Dustin Pedroia doesn't have the strength or bat speed to hit major-league pitching consistently, and he has no power......He probably has a future as a backup infielder if he can stop rolling over to third base and shortstop." Keith Law, 2006

You'll forgive literally everyone, including Jaguars fans for not knowing that. ;)

Also Aaron Stecker was with the Badgers for a couple years before he transferred, being blocked by Dayne, and he went on to have a pretty decent career in the NFL.

I actually went to look at his career NFL stats and was surprised to see he was still in the league. :laughing
