  1. One thing I will say that I like in this iteration. It used to be if you were asleep at the switch you were stuck with the commercial break when not watching live. If you got going on the fast forward quickly before it went to break you could ffwd to the next half inning. Now you can blast through that without having to be ready to pounce with the remote
  2. So a while back (Crow Day) I posted in IGT about how on MLB.tv I couldn't start from beginning for a game in progress. The solution I found was to go to settings and not show spoilers. That took care of the issue. But.... It still shows spoilers in one place. When I fast forward through the commercial breaks, it says the final score underneath the fast forward (for a game that's finished.) So they still have that kink to work out. Not ideal but at least I get to see the game from the beginning. My workaround I've been using is to point my firestick remote at the tv when the half inning ends, then turn my head away and click the forward button 12 times.
  3. The JBJ signing seemed good at the time of the signing though. Too bad it didn't work out. At least we did get this, so kinda worth it?
  4. Huh maybe I will delete and reinstall the app on my firestick then. I've been a little annoyed by it but the Crow debut calls for action. I realize this is probably the old curmudgeon in me talking, but it seems like when they update an app, half the time it makes it worse instead of better.
  5. Side question for MLB.tv users: Where is the "start from beginning" option for a game in progress? Or is it just not an option anymore? I haven't found it yet this season, and I'd really like to watch Crow pitch when I get home from work. Thank you in advance.
  6. One of my all time favorite seasons for sure. So much fun. And being a teenager at the time helped.
  7. On this date last year, the Brewers fell to 8-9. They started Tyler Alexander who gave way to Elvin Rodriguez. Other major Milwaukee stars who started that day were the always potent Isaac Collins and his .573OPS at DH. The two headed monster of Vinny Capra and Ollie Dunn handled 3b duties. Rhys Hoskins and his potent reliable bat at 1b. And yet the Brewers managed to squeak out an above .500 season, somehow. Probably just got lucky, who knows.
  8. Darn it. I was hoping it would be a video montage.
  9. This is the brand of baseball I waited all my life for the Brewers to play. I love it.
  10. At least we don't have to worry about phone books anymore.
  11. Saw that too. It would’ve been perfect timing for a bobble
  12. Hah I had Badgers losing to UConn in the brewerfan bracket. I checked on out as soon as Bucky lost too.
  13. Firstly, thanks for writing this piece. I'm just chiming in to say I wouldn't write off the possibility of Joey getting a 20 HR season or two at some point in his career.
