It's a huge ask to get by arguably the conference favorite without your second best player and the only guy on the roster who consistently can create his own jumper. 

I won't get too down on the Bucks. That was a brutal injury to deal with.  I'm just happy it didn't happen last year.

3 year, $6M in August.  Two seasons left after 21-22.

Yeah, it's this. Allen is a very good shooter. They need shooters on the floor. He's blowing chunks. Unfortunately it happens, and the loss of Middleton made it insurmountable.

Horst has his work cut out for him this offseason if this team doesn’t want to be known as a one year wonder because it’s clear the Celtics are a much better team, and no, it’s not debatable. The only reason this series went seven games is because of Boston’s hiccups, not anything the Bucks did. They lose this series even with Middleton.

I am the absolute fairest of the fair-weather bucks fans--they are a pleasant occasional distraction and nothing more.  But c'mon, man.  This statement is hugely debatable.

I'm sorry, but there is no possible way anyone knows how this series goes with Middleton available. This isn't DiVicenzo. It's an all-star and one of the best shooters in the league. 

I keep seeing this hot take and it's just an emotional one. He changes the series completely and give me a break, it went 7 games.

Just defend the 3 and this series is different.  Boston isn't going to beat you inside for 48 minutes, let alone 12.  Instead, it's Lopez playing like Rudy Gobert and running at the 3pt shooter 2 seconds after the ball has left his hand.   So predictable

It went seven games because the Celtics choked two games away. After game 1 the series has been a mismatch. And I doubt Middleton could match the 20 three pointers per game the defense is giving up.
