Christian Yelich since being moved to the leadoff spot: .313/.397/.438; 135 wRC+...Also, has now equaled his WAR total from all of last season....

I have noticed that Yelich has been useful as a leadoff hitter.    Keep him there

I spent yesterday moving giant bookshelves from the upstairs of a tiny, non-air-conditioned house and when I finally arrived home, ate dinner, and flipped on what I hoped would be an enjoyable night of baseball, the Crew was already down something like 5-0.

Blech. This has not been a good month of baseball.

Right-handed heavy lineup today, with the exception of Yelich. This is as it should be, given Kikuchi's huge struggles against righties over the course of his career.

CC insists on playing Hiura against LHP. Talk about stubborn. Hiura making 705100 GUARANTEED salary. What a waste.

With Burnes pitching, Brewers favored to win. We'll see if that happens.

Agree, but what is the alternative to Hiura? I could see Rowdy against LHP, but it's a toss up to me.

I was away all this week.

Has there been any info on Renfroe (infroe)? Should we be expecting another IL stint because of recurring hamstring problems?

ETA: I did some digging and found something on Yahoo that Renfroe is dealing with a “lingering calf issue”.

Note: If I raise something as a POSSIBILITY that does not mean that I EXPECT it to happen.

Peterson,Tellez, almost anyone else as far as I'm concerned.

The Brewers really need a win today to avoid an almost certain series sweep.

Gonzalez against the Jays big bats sounds like the recipe for an instant replay of last night’s snooze fest.

Tomorrow's not a certain loss by any stretch. Gonzalez at least kept us in the game on Tuesday, as opposed to Houser last night. Plus, Berrios has been very bad this year and is coming off an outing in which he gave up 6 runs.

If you check the record, I didn’t say “certain loss”, I said “almost certain”. I recognize the 5-10% possibility that, despite the matchup disparity, the Brewers Sunday lineup could overcome the Curse of the Weekend 10 pack and pull out a win.

I know all about what Berrios has been like this year because I have him on a fantasy team. While he has been generally bad, including his last start, he also has had several solid outings. A Sunday Brewers lineup could be just what he needs.

If they don't win this one it will likely be a sweep.

Brewers winning the World Series....

I'm talking about things likely to happen in my lifetime. If you want to talk infinity and beyond then sure.
