A Brewerfan Road Trip to Detroit!

Hey everyone. I have spoken to our founder and we have decided to offer a Brewerfan.net Road Trip to Detroit in 2007. I am working with an outside source for some travel arrangements for the trip which will be June 12th or 13th.

At this point, I am not able to divulge any further details about the trip since I'm still working with varoius sources to include many offerings for the road trip.

I need to get a rough idea of how many interested parties I have so I can provide some rough estimates to my sources.

This road trip is not replacing the annual Fan Fest which will still take place at a 2007 Home Game.

 

I am not able to offer a price totaql per person just yet other than to say I'd hope we can reserve a block of tickets near the visitor's dugout which appear to be $35.00 each.

 

Please reply to this thread if you are interested and would be able to free up your schedule for the dates above.

 

This is only one of the 2007 offerings we will have for our family members at Brewerfan.net.

At this point, all I can say about transportation is this:

 

all parties attending the game at Detroit will meet up in Milwaukee and we will depart in mass from there.

I really can not devulge any further details untill I've hammered out more details with outside sources.

 

Transportation will most likely be FREE OF CHARGE courtesy of Brewerfan.net.

I'm with Russ on that. If this was a weekend one I would definitely be in, but midweek my work would not be pleased to give me off for baseball.

I can't make a gaurantee at this point or even an estimate of tickets, but I am definetly interested.

Are we locked into a certain game/city -- I am all for the roady, however, but like Russ weekdays are much harder to work around.

Nothing is stopping others from gathering for a different road trip though.

I'm about 5% likely to make it. I'd love to go if I'm able to make an extended trip to Eau Claire this summer, but I have a thesis to work on that may not be done by June. Plus, the people I usually stay with in Milwaukee have a new place without an extra bedroom.

If we ever want to plan for a weekend roadtrip, Wrigley on a weekend sure sounds like fun. Turn that place into Miller south. Ticket prices might hurt?
