I wonder if since Tyrone Taylor hit 2 HR in one game does that mean we have to wait 4 weeks for another or will we see one in 2 weeks?  How long is the wait?

Nah. 100 pitches, 1 run game, and Giants starting to make contact off him with the top of the order due up. And our franchise's most valuable asset.

If Burnes was under 100 pitches I'd be more tempted to let him go for the complete game, but then again I'm still tempted. There was that stretch though were it seemed like we were letting the starters go too long, so I'm not sure it matters.

It's ABOUT TIME we didn't waste a great pitching start! We tried to blow it by scoring just 2, but I guess the secret is for the starter to go 8 and give up just 1.

Two runs on three hits in the 4th inning. Two runs on three hits for the game. We really don't believe in spoiling our starters.

If Burnes doesn't go to 3-2 to Yaz (putting the runner in motion w/2 outs) he pitches a shutout. That was fun to watch after his recent outings.
