50 years ago today - 6/5/73 - the Brewers selected Robin Yount with the #3 overall pick in the MLB Draft. He only played 64 minor league games before becoming a starting SS at age 18. I was only 12. He played 20 years in Milwaukee before retiring in 1993 & being elected to the Hall of Fame in 1999.  He remains my all-time favorite player.
