Imaging that, not running home on contact.

He ended up not scoring...perhaps he would have had he gone on contact? And saved an out in the process/ It's not like Monasterio has been perfect throwing home this year...

No he wouldn't have scored and it wouldn't be particularly close. There's a reason the Rangers are a high powered offense and the Brewers are not.

The reason the rangers are a high powered offense is because they get on base and hit HRs.

These are going to be three challenging innings for the Brewers bullpen.

And they don't run into unnecessary outs.

There was an out on the play...an easier out than throwing home with a necessary tag.

One inning down. Have to go with Milner in the 8th to face Seager and Lowe. Would be nice if he could finish the inning.

Nah. He's our starting CF whenever he arrives.

You can NOT know that for sure.

You don’t have to take risks on the bases when you can sit back and count on your .800 plus OPS offense to produce runs.

The risk/reward calculation is different for a team with an OPS under .700.

Of course I don't know that for sure. But I'm pretty dang sure and reaffirming that it likely doesn't mean anything.
