Not against the Raiders. RUN THE GDAM BALL

They have 18 carries to 13 passes so I would say that they are doing that.

On their 2 successful, drives, yes.  but it is more of a commentary toward the shat here....

Whatever magic Nixon showed last year is gone. Just make the smart decisions and hold onto the rock is all I ask.

yeah, but I think this team needs to keep trying to find big plays from special teams...

And that's the type of play action you need, none of that shotgun mesh crap where the defense just doesn't respect the run.

Now punch it in here

I get that you do it until they stop it, well, they stopped Dillon on 1st down.  I don’t get why you go back to it again on 2nd.  Really uninspiring.

I really thought Watson would be able to house that play with his speed once he broke into the open field.

Doesn’t look as explosive this year. Wonder if he doesn’t trust the hammy yet.

Yeah, I had the same thought.  Made me think he didn’t really open it up because he’s still a little worried about the hammy.  Which is fine, because were better with 80-90% Watson than 0 Watson.

Watson was pretty close to doing so. He basically had to start his sprint from a standstill. Nearly beat the Raiders safety who had a decent angle and a running start. Don’t know if the turf track might be just a little slow also.

Gary hasnt done much of anything tonight

"Dustin Pedroia doesn't have the strength or bat speed to hit major-league pitching consistently, and he has no power......He probably has a future as a backup infielder if he can stop rolling over to third base and shortstop." Keith Law, 2006
