Love played great

Yes, I am a skeptic of his game but that was his best game all year. Bad defense but there are worse guys taking snaps in this league for sure.

I don't see how Jones can be counted on for anything the rest of this season, even if it's not a season ending knee issue...he's been injured since week 1.

Feel for the guy, but it's also been bad for a developing offense to have it's best veteran skill position player player be a shell of himself all year long.

Wonder what % of starting running backs play more than 75% of the games in a season.

It's has to be one of the highest injury rate positions.

Interesting game... The Chargers really beat themselves out there, but our offense's best game in a long time.

Love: Clearly his best game and putting together back-to-back good games.  Had a few high throws, but clearly out-played Herbert.  His pocket presence took a step back as he seemed to be oblivious to a number of rushers out there. Something he didn't struggle with previously.

Reed - Anyone lamenting the draft pick now?  We need to start featuring the guy.  Kind of looking like a Justin Jefferson-lite player.

Wicks - Really surprising ascent for Wicks.  Love to see it.

Doubs/Watson - well, they catch TDs... Actually Doubs had a good overall day. Watson ran fast.

Kraft - hey! Nice to see a spark for the guy.

Musgrave - Continued growth for the young man.  Good blocking, good routes, good receiving. I'm excited.

Yosh Nijman-what happened?  Who turned your feet to concrete?

CBs - Our young CBs are really holding up better than I thought they could. Ballentine wasn't great, but he is what... our 6th string CB at the beginning of the season? Nixon had a strong game too.

Defense - Otherwise, our best defenders were the sun and the field. A very bend, but don't break day, but they had a lot of help on "don't break".

"Rock, sometime, when the team is up against it, and the breaks are beating the boys, tell 'em to go out there with all they got and win just one for the Uecker. I don't know where I'll be then, Rock but I'll know about it; and I'll be happy."

Anders Carlson - His FG was a bit "odd" and I've seen some comments about a bad snap.  His timing was certainly not there as it looked like he kicked it with a "half-leg"

What did everyone else see?

Carlson vs Crosby; who is better is pointless.  At Crosby's age and cost, we are better off rebooting (pun intended).  Carlson's brother had a few rough years with the Vikings before settling in at a high level.

For his kickoffs, I'd have to imagine the short kickoff is intentional.  Yes, players can fair catch it, but they rarely do.  And most of the time they've kicked it high and short, the other team doesn't make the 25.  So it seems like they handle it the right way.

I feel like many are remembering Crosby more favorably than his stats show in comparison to Carlson.

Crosby had a career FG percentage of 81.4% which is lower than Carlson this year (82%) and only exceeded 82% in 6 of his 16 seasons.

Crosby was certainly better towards the end of his career. From 2015 through 2022 he made 84.3% of his field goals. He was pretty bad in 2021 but that was because they had a terrible snapper/holder combo if memory serves.

I thought something seemed off live as well and said to a friend that it looked like he kind of poked the ball as opposed to kicked it.
