Bo Nix discovering that apparently playing in the NFL in real games against NFL starters is not quite the exact same as playing against 2nd and 3rd stringers in preseason.

I wouldn't worry too much. Sean Payton, the greatest offensive mind of our generation, is his head coach.

Zeke actually looks good. Watson still looks like the worst contract in NFL history.

Strange seeing him in a #15 jersey. I literally didn't know that was him until that touchdown.

Yeah they have Dalvin Cook, too. Great backfield as long as the year is 2019.

Before you laugh at the Browns for giving Deshaun Watson 230 million dollars of guaranteed money, be sure to remember first that they also gave up three 1st round picks for the privilege of paying him that money.

I mean...he was a REALLY good QB.

I can't believe he got this bad this quickly...but he did.

That's alright. The Browns can get out of that in...**checks calendar** 4 years.

Is Justin Tucker about to lose his title(or has he) as the best kicker in the NFL?

Too far out now after the penalty I think.

Sure...but he DRILLED 66(maaaybe by 5 yards) and he's been so good overall.

I'll still take Tucker, but damn, he's good.

It is indeed hard to figure out. But now that he has his money, there's no real incentive for him to improve. An unwise decision by the Browns organization to give him all that guaranteed money.

Is Collinsworth drunk? He just went on about how the Lions will play it safe in OT in the red zone and maybe kick the FG on 3rd down, only to be reminded by his colleague that they need a TD to ice the game. So then he sheepishly admitted that the Lions need a TD on this drive.

I think he forgot the "new" overtime rules that have been in place for a while now. I thought the same thing.

12 years was not enough time for him to get used to it?

Someone better make sure he knows about the 2 point conversion.

I don't buy this...just as a rule with athletes of that caliber. You could say the same about Mahomes or...Dak now, Love or really anyone who's gotten paid.

It's pretty rare a guy stops caring because they get paid. And Watson had already gotten paid. People forget, he got a massive deal(for the time) from the Texans.

I just remember when everything came out and there were a lot of people, respected people in the NFL/College who said if there was ONE person they don't believe did this, it was Watson. And then more came out and more...and it became clear he at BEST did something very inappropriate.

He may have lost his confidence or it's hard to lead when people don't respect you. I don't know...that's more likely to me than he got paid and doesn't care.

It has happened where people got paid and stopped caring. Albert Haynesworth had the ability to be one of the greatest DTs of all time. Got paid and just fell apart.

But I think Watson just lost his swagger, confidence...whatever.

All I can say is...I wish it was the Bears that paid him!

49ers and the Lions are extremely physical units. Team's going to go through a lot of painkillers the day after they play either of those teams.

Important to remember the last time the Packers played both of those teams, they were just as if not more physical than both of them.

Unless they get bit by the injury bug they will be in the NFC championship again.

Meh...not making proclamations in week 1 in today's NFL.  There will be another team or two that have something to say about that inevitability.

NFL now is kind of a "Wake me up when it's november" to know who's good and who's healthy enough to make a run.

Naw...everyone in Jets land is getting fired later this year

I think they will be OK if he doesn't get hurt again. Rodgers has not played real football in a loooong time. And that was about as brutal a matchup as you can get.
