I think the World Cup game might be a better entertainment choice this afternoon.

Note: If I raise something as a POSSIBILITY that does not mean that I EXPECT it to happen.

I would rather watch … paint dry, women’s college softball, the WNBA … I have never & will never watch soccer or hockey

However, if Sproat continues to throw batting practice to Arizona, I may watch an old western movie

It’s a matter of taste. I got  an appreciation for soccer watching my daughters play in high school and these games are the best teams and players in the world playing for the biggest prize in the sport.

it’s easy enough to keep track of a baseball game through a game tracker and switch to it if it looks like something interesting might happen. The way the Brewers offense has been those moments haven’t been been coming very often.

As I posted in last night’s thread … it’s hard to watch this team play right now & grasp that we have the second best record in MLB.

Milwaukee isn’t doing anything that well … the bullpen has been strong, starters are okay, defense is not great, offense has been mediocre recently, coaching has been below average.

Not sure how we are surviving a difficult stretch of games with this mix of players & performance.

I’m sittin’ here at the game on the 1st base line watching Rodriguez’ whopping 92mph fastball and slow motion off speed pitches.
and our guys still put their foot on the far back line of the box.

and then Yelich bunts

Bauers heading back towards 250. He is playing way to much.

This was not the day to rest Contreras. We could have used his bat against a LHP.

How many teams have the dh bunt in the 4th inning?

Probably about as many that have a DH with a .716 OPS.
