Yep. I’d love to have Lockridge back as an option to get Chourio a day or three off to reset.

We used to have better and more interesting production with “put the ball in play”, scratch a few across the plate games to frustrate the opponent. We have been unlucky with hard hit balls of late and we strike out against pitchers who do not have overpowering stuff. We are a NL Central contender/favorite not a playoff run team. But, if you can go cold or unlucky at the same time, these hitters can get hot at the same time. I’m hopeful that happens!

And also let new players like Lara get ABs. That 2nd AB from Chourio says a lot…

Chourio needs to sit. He is not focused, not seeing pitches. Give Lara the spot for a bit…
